Isle of Wight Street Pastors started in 2009. Part of a national movement run by the Ascension Trust it aims to show Christian concern for society by mobilising volunteer “street pastors” on the Island’s streets, engaging with people to care, listen and dialogue.
Isle of Wight Street Pastors is run by a volunteer management team and part-time co-ordinator, David Ouston. It is a registered charity number 1136110 and a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales number 07200287.
